General Information
Beverley Mitchell has never made a secret of her love for music, she believes that, "It’s such a wonderful way to touch people.” In January 2007, Beverley released her debut self titled album. During breaks in productions from "7th Heaven", Beverley frequently traveled to Nasville where she co-wrote and recorded songs for this debut album. From songs about standing up for what you believe in to bittersweet ballads about life and loss, this album has something for every country music fan. Beverley herself co-wrote seven of the fourteen songs.
Speaking of starting a new career in the Country and Western music industry Mitchell said, “It’s definitely different. You know, you’re up there by yourself. I’m gonna have to stand alone on my own two feet and shine on my own. It is very intense, and very intimidating, and very scary because this whole record is a chance to truly see who I am; what I’m about. You see all facets of me in it. It’s scary to be able to give that to someone and say, ‘Here I am, I hope you like it!’”
The aulbum was well recieved with reviewers prasing her "warm voice" and "catchy music."
